About

Leave Women Alone was an idea sparked during a conversation between two friends who wondered: Why do some people need to be reminded to just leave women alone? With that, LWA was born: reminders emblazoned on shirts and totes, with purchases benefiting women’s causes.

With every purchase of a Leave Women Alone t-shirt or product, 20% of profits are donated to causes supporting women. Leave Women Alone is committed to empowering women's bodily autonomy, safety, and choice, and our mission is to fund impactful initiatives meaningfully.

History

The campaign began as a limited run fundraiser to raise funds for Women's History Month starting February 2024. Due to the high interest, the campaign was extended through July 31, 2024, with 100% of profits during our first six months of operation benefiting three nonprofits supporting women in empowerment, bodily autonomy, and safety: the Guía Collective, the Afiya Center, and the Battered Women's Justice Project.

Causes we've donated to

The Guía Collective is a non-profit organization helping women of color and gender expansive POC gain educational access, find opportunities, and become leaders in product design, research, and management. Learn more

The Afiya Center advances the needs of Black women in health care, covering everything from abortion access to HIV programming to reproductive justice to maternal mortality. Learn more

The Battered Women’s Justice Project (BWJP) promotes systemic change within the civil and criminal justice systems to ensure an effective and just response to victims and perpetrators of intimate partner violence (IPV), and the children exposed to this violence. Learn more

Each item is made to order, so unfortunately we are unable to offer order exchanges and returns at this time. Please note that all orders are final and cannot be canceled once placed, but your purchase will go towards benefiting meaningful causes.
